What the summary covers

  • Date, meeting type and participants when the minutes state them.
  • Decisions made — one bullet each, in plain words.
  • Action items in the format owner — task — deadline, so nothing gets lost.
  • Open questions and disagreements that were not settled.
  • Next meeting — date and agenda items carried over.

Public council minutes, association general assemblies, school board minutes and committee reports — handy for journalists, residents and members who want to know what was actually decided.

Limits

The tool reports what is written. If the minutes do not name an owner or a deadline, the summary says so instead of inventing one. For audio or video recordings, transcribe them first and save the transcript as PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can it summarize a meeting transcript?

Yes, if the transcript is a PDF. Long transcripts are read in parts and merged, so the whole meeting is covered.

Can it produce action items per person?

Ask in the Q&A tab: “List action items grouped by owner.” The answer cites the pages where each action appears.

Does it work for board minutes with annexes?

Yes. Up to 300 pages, annexes included. Ask specifically about an annex if you need its details.

Can I translate the recap for an international team?

Choose an output language — the recap can be written in any of 20 languages.

Are confidential minutes stored?

The PDF is deleted after extraction; the text is deleted after 60 minutes and never used for AI training.
